HSAMystiqueShetan x Fadjurs Lass 14.3hh 1992 Bay Gelding

A Sport Horse pedigree with 3x to US National Champion Stallion and Scottsdale Champion Stallion, Bask++, Ariston, Bask-Tez, *Essaul, 2x to *Flis, and Comet through his Pure Polish sire HSA Mystique Shetan and 2x to Reserve National Champion Stallion Fadjur. Fadjur was named a Living Legend of the Arabian Breed and was also voted into the Arabian Horse Trust Hall of Fame for his influence on the breed. Additionally, NS Fadjurs Triton had 2x to*Fadl, 2x to Bint Sahara (one of the top broodmares of all time. Selected as a Living Legend in 1970), 2x to *Kasztelanka, 2x to Fadheilan, *Nimrod, Rasan, and La Fana through his dam Fadjurs Lass, classically bred by the Jack Tone Ranch.
Triton has been my primary riding horse for the past 16 years (trained Hunter, but we ride Western around the farm). He would be a wonderful Amateur mount for local 4H or Class A/Regional fun. Triton will need some polishing to get back showing again as all he does here at the farm is extreme leisure :-). My 3 year old son and I ride Triton together regularly and he always steps tried and true for his precious, fragile mount.
Though Triton is in his late teens, he has the energy and stamina of a 5 year old. He would have fun with sorting, ranch work or casual trail riding, and also excels in Arabian Sport Horse Hunter and Arabian Sport Horse In Hand. You can teach this "old dog" new tricks - and he'd love it! His broad array of athletic ability, calm and quiet demeanor and keen intellect are just a few great reasons for an amateur or youth rider to consider him. I've used Triton for training inexperienced youth and adult riders, as he is patient and tolerates "rider's mistakes". Triton has just enough spunk to be real fun for the experienced youth rider looking for the next notch up. Plus there are hours of fun to be had brushing his long thick mane and tail (which he LOVES).
Triton has in the past been a Hunter and Sport Horse In Hand Winner. The judges love his extra large cannons and movement.

Triton's pure Polish sire line...
~*Bask++ was most known for his ability as a prolific sire and being the first Arabian to win National Championships in both halter and performance. However, something everyone may not know is that *Bask, as a young stallion in Poland, got his start in racing. Though not always crossing over the finish line first, he held his own, and to this day is still noted for the extreme athletic ability he would pass on to his progeny.
*Bask’s show record • 1964 Scottsdale Champion Park • 1964 Scottsdale Champion Stallion Halter • 1964 US National Champion Stallion • 1964 US National Top Ten Park • 1965 Spokane Reserve Champion Park • 1965 Legion of Merit (++) • 1966 Scottsdale Champion Park • 1967 Region 1 Champion Park • 1967 Region 2 Champion Park • 1967 US National Reserve Champion Formal Driving • 1967 US National Reserve Champion Formal Combination
• Sire of 1,035 foals in the USA, and over 32,874 grand foals!
Triton's Dam line, classical breeding through the Jack Tone Ranch...
~Fadjur...The accomplishments of Fadjur and his descendants are so extensive that it would be very difficult to mention them all. To name a few, Fadjur was Reserve National Champion Stallion, twice. He was named a Living Legend of the Arabian Breed. Fadjur was voted into the Arabian Horse Trust Hall of Fame for his influence on the breed, and in the same year Western Horseman magazine honored him in their book Legends of the Arabian Breed. The two Arabians who have won the highest number of National championships are both Fadjur descendants, and others have held World Records and National Championships in many disciplines and divisions all over the world -including halter, endurance, racing, working western and dressage. Sierra Fadwah (Fadjur son) is a Hall of Fame Endurance Inductee, National Champion Endurance Stallion and sire of many race and endurance winners. Fadjur was the epitome of Arabian type, not just by physical beauty but also through spirit, proudness and athletic prowess. Fadjur was extremely prepotent as a sire and the 'Fadjur Look' can be described as a very special attitude and presence. His descendants are very intelligent with wonderful personalities and that very trait is regarded as the most important one that Fadjur has passed on, combined with type, conformational correctness and athleticism.
~Bint Sahara...Bred by John C. Silva, Bint Sahara was the Dam of eighteen registered purebred Arabian foals. One of the greatest Arabian broodmares of all time! She was owned by Frank and Helen McCoy, and became the foundation of the McCoy dynasty of Arabian Horses. She was an outstanding broodmatron with nine champion offspring to her credit. Her equally stunning daughter, Fersara, produced another five champions of her own.
