MI Silver Wind's Egyptian Related Dam, Morafica, is the granddaughter of the magnificent Straight Egyptian / Al Khamsa stallion, *Morafic. MI Silver Wind’s sons and daughters are not only beautiful examples of the Arabian Horse, but also have successful show or performance careers. Most are champions in one or more of the following disciplines: Halter, Sport Horse Halter, Racing and Endurance.
MI Silver Wind has been our lead producer here at Coho Wind Arabians since 2000. She's an easy, easy breeder, foals easy and is an outstanding mom. She passes on big, floaty, forward moving movement and high tail carriage, plus her size and refinement. Since she is a confident and dominant lead mare in the herd, her foals learn and pick up on this. They grow up to be leaders in the herd themselves and are brave, self-assured individuals. They are exceptionally trainable and truly enjoy their human companions. She still has several breeding years left in her and I would not discount her age, as the marvels of veterinary technology will allow her to provide many money making foals thanks to embryo transfer. She can still breed, carry and foal out with ease. Embryo transfer was only suggested as an idea to safely produce more foals from her in the years to come.
